Vrolikheid Landgoed: Swallow Cabin

Love is always in the air at Vrolikheid Landgoed, a working fruit farm in the gorgeous Tulbagh Valley. Why? Because this farm is home to seven supremely romantic and stylishly decorated self-catering cabins, each of which sleeps two and comes with a cosy indoor fireplace, a private wood-fired hot tub and air-con for the warmer months.

The five fanciest cabins (Hoopoe, Cape Robin, Barn Owl, Woodpecker and Swallow) also boast customised cargo-net hammocks, private outdoor bathtubs and outdoor showers. Sunbird Cabin is surrounded by pine trees and has an outdoor shower, while Kingfisher Cabin keeps things simpler (and more affordable) without compromising on comfort or quality.

There’s a minimum two-night stay, and no children or pets are allowed.
