The farmstead occupies an area that has served as a resting place for weary travellers for hundreds of years, and there are three delightful self-catering units surrounded by spectacular views. Die Skooltjie is a quaint, charming one-bedroom cottage that sleeps 2 adults and 2 kids (thanks to a double daybed in the living room). There’s a splash pool on the private back porch for relief from the hot Karoo sun, as well as a gorgeous garden and sheltered braai area.
