Situated on a working blueberry and pear farm on the banks of the Bree River, Riverstone House in Wolseley is a mere 90-minute drive from Cape Town, but offers hard-to-beat seclusion – you’ll feel like you’re a million miles away.

This cosy house features all the comforts of a home-away-from-home, with the added benefit of being on Mother Nature’s doorstep. The shaded front stoep leads onto a sunny patch of lawn in the front of the house – ideal for the kids and pooches to roam free. The Bree River – just below the front garden and accessed by a short flight of steps – beckons on sweltering summer days, while winter nights call for fireside board games in the lounge, fuelled by hot chocolate and rusks. It’s the stuff fun-filled family weekends are made of.
