Perivoli Lagoon House

On the shore of the Klein River Lagoon, where the sounds of birdlife and majestic flamingos soaring across the tranquil water set the scene, Perivoli is a hidden haven with 140 hectares of untouched fynbos surrounding it. Hands-on hosts Simoné Marcelino and Henckert welcome guests to their ultra-contemporary villa, designed by architect Gregg Goddard and decorated by Simoné herself, who was inspired by the splendid wilderness surrounding it.

Each of the four ensuite bedrooms has its own terrace and fireplace. The state-of-the-art-kitchen comes complete with a herb garden. There are indoor and outdoor living areas with deep sofas and panoramic views of the lagoon and mountains, a large deck with alfresco dining tables and a heated infinity pool. Nature lovers will be in their element on guided fynbos walks, while a beach excursion to Walker Bay Nature Reserve – complete with G&Ts on the dunes – is an unforgettable highlight.

Kayaks, mountain bikes and even a speedboat with tubes and skis are available for guests to use. This exclusive-use property is offered as all-inclusive or self-catering (in which case, know that private chef Madré can be booked for individual gourmet experiences should you feel like a spoil).
