Leopard Valley Eco Retreat Glamping: Buchu & Rooibos
Hidden in a valley in the majestic Cederberg, this eco retreat on a 1 200-hectare farm offers a soul-firing escape in tranquil natural beauty. Shipping containers have been converted into five stylish cabins, painted black and positioned beneath a well-ventilated roof structure, with sliding doors that open onto a deck with spectacular views. Crystal-clear springs feed a dam, pond and swimming pool close by, and one cabin (Verreaux’s Eagle) has an outdoor bathtub for magical stargazing.
There are four boutique glamping tents in total: two with a private bathroom (Buchu + Rooibos) and two with a shared bathroom (Waboom Protea + Wild Olive). But whichever one you choose, it’s sure to be comfortable and peaceful, with a private wood-fired hot tub and all the wide open space you need to disconnect from daily life and return feeling rested and recharged.
