Fossil Hills: Pinotage House

Just 3km away is a working wine farm called Thornvilla, and this is where you’ll find Fossil Hills, a relaxing countryside retreat with 12 farm-style units, each featuring a private hot tub and offering comfort and tranquility amidst stunning mountain views.

Pinotage House is the largest of all, with five bedrooms in the Main House and an additional two in the Annex (plus a single bed in the living room). There’s also a private hot tub, a beautiful garden that’s dotted with trees, a plunge pool for those hot summer days and a large play area for the kids, making this the ideal destination for an unforgettable family holiday.

Fossil Hills offers two scenic wine walks, perfect for hiking enthusiasts. Choose from one- to three-day guided trails that wind through vineyards, rolling hills and spectacular views. Along the way, enjoy tastings at local wineries and embrace the natural charm of the Breede Valley.
