Belle Balance Bush Lodge: Family Unit

When one thinks of Plettenberg Bay, wading hippos and galloping red hartebees typically don’t come into it. But, actually, there’s a lot more to the Garden Route than golden beaches and sparkling blue seas. Tucked away on a private game reserve in the Bitou River Valley is Belle Balance Bush Hideout, a tranquil and exclusive South African safari lodge where nature and comfort meets. Belle Balance Bush Hideout offers four types of luxurious accommodation: standard rooms, a family unit, a family cottage and The New Honeymoon Suite.

The Family Unit comprises Rooms 5a and 5b, which are interconnected. Room 5a (situated downstairs) has a king-size bed in the main room, two single beds on the enclosed veranda, an ensuite bathroom with a shower, and a secret herb garden. Room 5b (upstairs) contains two three-quarter beds and an ensuite bathroom with a bath and shower.
