The Barn on 62: Red Bishop

There are so many beautiful places to explore along Route 62, a hugely popular and spectacularly scenic tourist route that meanders across the Western and Eastern Cape. One of those beautiful places is Montagu, a quaint, historic town that’s surrounded by the majestic Langeberg mountains and famous for its healing hot springs (although there’s so much more for you to do while you’re there).

The Barn on 62 is the perfect base from which to explore the area, with several tastefully decorated units to choose from: Riverine Rabbit sleeps two, while Familiar Chat is a deluxe four-sleeper suite that can also be split into two separate two-sleepers – the Karoo Prinia luxury suite and the Red Bishop luxury loft. Familiar Chat, Karoo Prinia and Riverine Rabbit each have their own private swimming pool, bathroom and kitchenette, and offer access to braai facilities. Red Bishop is situated on the first floor with no swimming pool or braai facilities, and is better suited to overnight guests or business travellers.
