AfriCamps at Stanford Hills

The lush green meadows and rolling hills of Stanford are bliss personified, and it’s here that AfriCamps has pitched 10 boutique tents in the foothills of the Klein River Mountains. Some of the tents overlook a beautiful farm dam, while others offer spectacular views of the fynbos-covered slopes (where the proteas are in bloom from August to November).

The camp is situated on a boutique wine farm, which offers tastings and authentic country food that’s made with its own farm-fresh vegetables, making it a popular “slow-food” destination. With two comfortable bedrooms, a lounge and dining area, a wooden verandah, a private bathroom and your own wood-fired hot tub, you’ll have nothing to do but relax and unwind – and everything you could possibly need to do it!
